Frequently Asked Questions
What is graduated compression and how does it work?
Graduated compression means the pressure is strongest at the ankle and gradually decreases as it moves up the leg. This helps push blood back up towards the heart, improving circulation, reducing swelling, and speeding up recovery. It's the same technology used by medical professionals — now designed for everyday Australians.
What mmHg level should I choose?
mmHg stands for millimetres of mercury and measures the pressure level of the compression. For most everyday use — sport, travel, and work — a level of 15–25 mmHg is ideal. If you have a specific medical condition, we recommend speaking with your GP or healthcare provider before choosing a compression level.
How do I find my correct size?
Sizing is based on your shoe size and calf circumference. Check our size guide on each product page for the most accurate fit. A well-fitting compression sock should feel snug but never painful or restrictive. If you're between sizes, size up for comfort.
How do I wash my compression socks and sleeves?
We recommend hand washing in cold water with a mild detergent, or machine washing on a gentle cycle in a laundry bag. Always air dry — never tumble dry or iron your compression gear, as heat can break down the elastic fibres and reduce compression effectiveness.
How long does shipping take across Australia?
Standard shipping takes 3–7 business days Australia-wide. Express shipping takes 1–3 business days. You'll receive a tracking number via email once your order has been dispatched.
Do you offer returns or exchanges?

Are your products suitable for medical conditions?
CompreX products are designed for general wellness, sport, travel, and everyday use. If you have a diagnosed medical condition such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), lymphoedema, or diabetes, please consult your doctor or healthcare provider before using compression garments.
Can I wear compression socks all day?
Yes, most people can wear graduated compression socks throughout the day comfortably. Many nurses and healthcare workers wear them for entire shifts. We recommend removing them before sleeping unless advised otherwise by a medical professional.
Are your products suitable for pregnancy?
Compression socks can be beneficial during pregnancy to help manage swelling and improve circulation. However, we strongly recommend consulting your midwife or obstetrician before use, as individual circumstances vary.
